I love Donaldson, and this is a great book. It is the first of 4 volumes in the Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant, and I eagerly anticipate the release of the next book.

OMG! I could hardly believe that he was writing about The Land again, and this book (As well as the other 3 to come after it) are more that well worth the wait. Warning though: If you have not read any of the previous Thomas Covenant novels do not read this one first or you will be lost.
