Anna Maxted sure does take the long way to get to the (anticipated) conclusion in this book. I love to read and really had to force myself to plod through the musings of the self-absorbed, confused main character. Her eating disorder doesn't make me feel bad for her; I pity her. There are many wonderful books out there; don't waste your time on this one!

Didn't finish. One assumes the vapid, whining, self-obsessed heroine of this piece will eventually turn into a human being but after struggling through almost 300 pages of this 400+ page boatload, I bailed out.

Fast read. Young English crowd; Natalie's best friend is getting married and she feels alone and lost. Meets the wrong guy, loses her job and almost loses her friends but wins out in the end. Actually a good read.
