Overall, a good book - makes you sorry for the conditions that this young, disturbed boy grew up in. The graphic gay sex scenes were difficult to listen to and I found myself dreading multiple scenes - in truth, there were only two very graphic ones and overall the book was worth it. I don't think I'll get another one of his books, though, just because of the gay sex scenes which tended to be very violent.

Being a person who works in the psychology field I didnt find this book as far-fetched as some might. And while it was explicit, I guess I dont offend easily because I was actually in awe of his honesty. I thought the book was well written and well read.
