Geared more for running. Easy and quick read since I just read the chapters I was interested in. The one thing that really struck me as odd was the author's stance on menopause. For example, if you have a heavy menstrual flow, she suggests you "Wear a tampon, heavy pad, and black tights. Since the worst flow usually occurs on day one of your period, you may want to make this your day off from running or walking." Really? But then again, not everyone experiences the same things. But, hey, why not tell us to also wear our granny panties in case we have an accident?

Much of this is dated information. This book provides basic information for mature women on running and walking.
