Should be called Me and scientology, and oh yea, I Have a son you may have heard of, named David... YAWN. unless you want to know insider details about scientology the "religion", skip this non helpful, very boring book. I feel bad for dad, but the way this book was written, I skimmed and didn't feel like I learned anything new by reading it.

No, Ron Miscavige does not have the insight to recognize the responsibility he has in letting his teen be mentored by a sociopath.
Though he complains bitterly about David disconnecting families and forcing people to put the "church" ahead of their loved ones; he very deliberately puts all blame on his son while trumpeting the innocence of the idea of scientology in all the "church's" abuses.
The book is neither well written (doesn't a professional co-writer know to show not tell?) nor does it give any insights into what makes either Ron or David tick. Rather it is the pathetic revenge of a bitter old man, who is hurt because his son has cut him out.
