A very good book! The characters were strong, fun, and sexy. The story was great, with twists and turns. I can't wait to read the next book!

I think even though this book stands alone I would have enjoyed it better if I had followed series from beginning.

I've been a fan of Terry since her beginning days of the werewolf. There are several things I've come to expect from her stories but the biggest two are that she has strong, flawed characters that you can't help but adore and enough action to fulfill even the biggest diehard's fantasies. Not to mention, she always tosses in enough heat to throw the most seasoned chef right out of his own kitchen.
I'm happy to say that Terry hasn't lost her touch. The searing power between the two main characters was enough to make me, Little Miss No Loverockets Please, tingle and blush. The characters definitely didn't disappoint either. They're strong and flawed and every second with them is a blast.
Now we get to my favorite part, the action. This is no simple romance, people. We're dealing with some dangerous beasts who have no problem ripping each other's throats out if the need arises. In this book, Meara's being targeted by an unknown assassin. Actually, one man controlling several assassins. The problem is that you don't know why or who the bad guys are versus the good guys. Thankfully, you don't get to figure it out until the end, either! I love it! Another more than well-done book, Terry! Thank you!
