Sackett's Land - first book in the Sackett series. A wonderful book for those who love Louis L'Amour, the Sackett's, and who are interested in history. Set in a time several centuries ago, it deals with geo-political issues of the "Old World", and focuses on some of the issues involved in the early settling of North America by folks from England and the fens.

Or, if you just like swashbuckling action, it is still a great read.

Want to get more into the westerns, but i guess it had to start somewhere.

Comparatively L'Amour knowledge of boats and terms is lacking, but the action was nevertheless there.
