This was one of my favorite reads...From the cover I didn't think I would like it but let me tell you I started reading this book and became so absorbed in it that I was not able to put it down. The main character starts to believe that her husband and father killed her mother and finds a video that claims there was something going on. With the way the story is written you're constantly wondering whether she's right or not and then its obvious the truth is what it is...ah...what a great book! Highly recommend to you!
Very well done first person narrative with a surprise ending. No matter how big or important you are some things can't be forgiven
Did Grayson's father, the governor of Louisiana, kill her mother or was it really suicide as he claims? Grayson is torn between her loyalty to her father and new husband (her father's speech writer) and the memory of her mother.
Written in such a way that the paranoia and tension is really felt by the reader. The story gets confusing sometimes, but a good read.

hmm...this book was a riveting read, but it left me feeling sad. the characters lives are just so messed up. :(
An unnerving psychological thriller story about the social dynamics in a rich and powerful but unstable family. I enjoyed the book.
Pretty suspenseful--good read.
