I love the author's way of writing... the tension in this book between the main characters is almost palpable! You just know from the beginning that something is not right, but the ending will take you by surprise.

after reading the reviews I tried and tried to stick with it BUT I couldn't--I got over 100 pages into it and it was so boring my mind wandered a lot and I'd have to reread a page, the characters were not interesting enough to want to know anything about them, the murder just didn't seem to get interesting, and it seemed to just drag drag drag along---so I quit reading it and moved on to something else.
