I will be brief. I liked the first book, Asylum. I especially liked it for the images throughout the book. This book 2, Sanctum, had even more images and this is the only reason I give the book 2 and a half stars.
I do not recommend this book, because it was boring, unimaginative, silly and just plain bizarre. Honestly it felt like taking a camel and trying to force it through the eye of a needle. I just couldn't see the story becoming anything useful or cool or fun to read. It felt forced or like someone trying to put a story to images out of the clear blue sky and it just made no sense. I did not like this book at all. Never judge a book by its cover. Yuck! Bad choice to start the New Year off with.
