Another book in the Travelers' Tales series; I honestly didn't like this one nearly as much as The Thong Also Rises, though! However, there are definitely a few standout pieces in this book -- the best, I thought, was Ellen Degeneres's "The Plane Truth," which made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt! A fun read, especially if you like to travel, but I'd recommend the other book over this one, if I had to choose.

I giggled and guffawed my way through these very funny short stories written by women about their hilarious travel situations. Truly only a woman would understand most of these situations that we may have encountered and politely never mentioned to anyone except our BFF. You feel like you've made a new BFF as each story unfolds. Great vacation read!

Cute short stories about travel across the world from the Colorado River in Utah to Santiago, Chile. From Black Rock Desert, Nevada to Paris to Zambia and back via Kuwait or Bandanaira.
I especially liked the dedication:
For all the women who sit at home or behind their desks bitching that they never get to go anywhere.

This was entertaining, but I craved selections that were a bit lengthier...once I got used to a style and a character, the essay was already over. I guess I probably should stay away from collections and stick to the full story version!

All too often, a book's title and artwork are misleading, resulting in a subpar reading experience that does not live up to my hopes and expectations.
In this case, the title and cover did not disappoint. This book was perfect for lounging on the beach in Cape Cod, soaking up both the rays and the hilarious tales within this book. Since all of the stories are short, this was a perfect vacation read. I enjoyed it very much.

I found this book just okay, nothing to brag about. Out of all the stories I only chuckled on three of them and that's not many when there's 28 total. Most of them where way too short or just didn't make much sense to me. I didn't feel I traveled anywhere reading them and that's the whole reason I read travel books. Not at all what I expected from this book.

Hilarious stories about travel mishaps from some of the world's funniest women (my words). The nuggets here range from so-so to laugh-by-yourself....some better than others. This is a good book to carry with you while you're traveling!

These stories were not funny, not entertaining and truly a waste of the paper they were written on. Do not waste your time with such junk, it is a waste of time and energy to get through this one
