Vintage Veryan. One of her best-and I've read them all. It can be read as a stand-alone but to get the full flavor, I feel that one should read this conclusion to the "Sanguinet Saga" after reading the others in the series. Interesting to see how both Mitchell and Charity have hidden depths to them. Fun to "catch up" with "old friends" from previous books.
