Exciting romance and ever-present danger combine in the gilded age of 1880s Saratoga. With its magnificent racetrack, glittering hotel-casinos, and sprawling greenery, Saratoga was a posh watering hole for the super-rich. And lovely Paula Whalen, barely twenty, was on top of it all. Following her fathers strange disappearance, Paula faced the huge task of running his resort hotel and casino. Its booming success attracted the envious and the greedy, and she gladly accepted the aid of dashing Joel Vickery. But his mysterious ways only added to Paulas mounting fear, and she soon found herself in the middle of a ruthless plot for power, and a high-risk quest for love!
