They're five sisters who grew up in four cities on two continents. They grew up, grew apart and then came together again, connecting in adulthood as friends. Five personaliities. five points of view, five very different lives, united by the common belief that whether by nature or by choice, being someones sister or friend is what gives meaning to our lives

Women have an amazing ability to make family out of friends! This book is the first I have found that actually cronicles how and why this happens in a funny, entertaining way.

The sisters' essays on life and how they have benefited from their large family. Not as humorous as I had expected, but interesting.

The Dolan sisters share their approach to life that's rooted in big family wisdom. Their theory: there are five sense that you are born with, and then there are the five uncommon senses you acquire when you grow up in a family of ten ( 5 five sisters+ 3 brothers + 2 parents), which prepares you for life in the real world.
