It doesn't matter if Terry Spear is writing on werewolves or Jaguar shifters, she does a great job at keeping you interested in her books.
New Jaguar shifter story was a fast, enjoyable read. While vacationing in the jungle with his twin Maya, Jaguar shifter Connor rescues Kat from drug dealers in the Amazon while she is on assignment with U.S. Army drug enforcement. For a year he wonders what happened to her since she was badly injured. Kat suddenly shows up in the Amazon and the drug Cartel are after her again. Without any spoilers, all I can say is the book is a continueing battle with the drug dealers with lots of intrigueing facts about Jaguars and their mating habits.
PROS: The romance is nicely done without getting too graphic. The secondary characters and interesting. I really liked Maya.
CONS: The ending battle with the drug lord came too easily considering what a sinister character Gonzales is during the story. And I would have enjoyed more in depth character developement.
Overall I enjoyed the book and couldn't put it down once I started. Can't wait to read Maya's story.
