Thus far my favorite in the series. Drake's story does not disappoint, I wish the author would've given more details on his recovery since it was such his injury made him unique. I really good read if you like Christine Feehan.

A surprising (to me) book about the Leopard People. Very good read! For a change, the uber male doesn't underestimate the strength of the heroine! Here's hoping Christine Feehan 'finds' more pockets of Leopard People in other places!!

Ever since Drake was introduced I have been waiting for his story. I fell in love with the character right away. This story doesn't disappoint. I love the mystery behind this story and all the side characters: totally loving Remy and Joshua. It was great to have a new setting to read about and a whole new group of people. And may I say Pauline is a saint? I would love it if Feehan went back and wrote a short story about Pauline and Amos.
My only thing is that everytime I read Saria I kept thinking Sangria.
Well worth the read if you are into Feehan. There is also an exerpt from Zacharias story, another one of my personal favorite from her Dark series. Can't wait.

Was one of my favorite of her leopard people book. Really liked Drake's story and the Louisiana swamp setting. Gave it a different feeling and introduced several more characters to read about in the future.
I really love the story. i like the leopard people. Do you love cats, you will like it too. In that book, a kind of people change into a leopard. They like openess space to range.
Loved this book. Saria is written as a strong character and Drake is good with that. I liked the fact that she doesn't know she's leopard. Great action. Would like to see Remy's story.
thought drake donovan a very good hero. not by choice but by fate. loved how he fought against the savior spot but steped up to the role as needed. thought saria boudreaux need to fight for her independance more. fell too easily into drakes lap when he declaired her as his mate. she started out very strong and independant but fell very early in the book.
lots of action as usual.
Danger lurks in the shadows and desire shimmers in the sultry heat as leopard shifter Drake Donovan is sent to a Louisiana bayou to investigate a murder. He's ready for anything except the insatiable hunger that rocks him when he meets Saria Boudreaux, a woman with a compelling motive-and ability-to distract him from the task at hand.
