The story itself is cute, but this is the first time that the narrator of the CD lessened the enjoyment. I'm sure the narrator is an excellent actress, but she couldn't do a credible male voice for any of the characters. In addition, her female voices all started to blend together, particularly those of the two main female characters. Listening to this story really brought home to me how important a good narrator is for audio books. I've been lucky so far. I probably would stay away from any other stories narrated by this actress. I just don't think she has the range to do a good job.
