This is a quick read, and enjoyable. I am getting a kick out of this Springwater series.
This is a wonderful series.
Very good, part of the Springwater Seasons series, but not necessary to read the rest, stands on it's own.

Savannah is a dance hall girl who, despite her profession, is a virtuous woman, but that's not how most of the world sees her. Newly arrived in Springwater, she expects the same treatment she's always received. Instead, to her surprise, she finds friendship--and love.
" Springwater, Montana...For a dance-hall girl who's never had much luck with dreams, Springwater may hold the happiness she seeks. Savannah Rigbey has made a living pouring whiskey and singing in saloons since she was sixteen years old.
Miller is a great writer a must read author
Savannah's story is great; continuing in the line of the series. This book has a few small tears in the beginning of the book but not into the text. It's not almost brand-new shape but still good enough that I feel it can be sent out.
# 2 in the Springwater Seasons series. Savannah has worked in saloons since she was 16 and her father threw her out of his house. She comes to Sweetwater because she is part owner in the saloon. On the way to Sweetwater she helps Dr. Prescot Parrish deliver a baby. She wants to fit in with the women of Sweetwater, but knows that she is not usually accepted by the women of a town because of her profession. She is accepted in the town of Sweetwater and agrees to become Dr. Parrish's wife.
I always enjoy Linda Lael Miller's books.
Loved this series! I couldn't wait to move to the next character and still keep up with all of the first settlers. Great series!
A very sweet story about two lost souls finding home and a place where they can be accepted.
Nice, mellow, easy read.

Savannah Rigbey has made a living pouring whiskey and singing in saloons since she was sixteen years old. She's come to Springwater to take up her half-ownership of the local bar--but her work begins before she even sets foot in town. On the stagecoach to Springwater, a young girl goes into labor--and Savannah, with her level head and steady hand, aids a gruff doctor in abating a crisis.
Dr. Prescott Parrish has never met a woman like Savannah. Despite her rouge and bangles, she is a virtuous--though decidedly stubborn woman, who ignites his most infuriating emotions. But behind his prickly exterior, Pres harbors painful memories of the Civil War, heartache that may be soothed by a new and fulfilling love. Slowly, Pres and Savannah begin to see each other for who they truly are, with masks removed--and with passion flarily unexpectedly.
