I am addicted to this series! The storyline is predictable but that didn't keep me from enjoying this story greatly! Nora Roberts develops characters that you can relate to completely. This will be a great summer read. I recommend it to eveyone! Can't wait for the next book in November.

Another cute book in the Bridal Quartet. I absolutely loved the first two books in the series and am sad to start book 4 and see the end of the series.
The four friends with their unique personalities just keeps me reading and reading. It has been some time since I read the first two books and I was back in the story in the first paragraph with little catch up needed. This book centered around the cakes of their wedding business. Laurel a hard working independent woman has been crushing on Parker's brother since childhood. Finally, they are on the same page in this book and their romance unfolds.
Full of love, romance, and all things girlie - these books are a must grab for days indoors or out by the pool. I can't wait to crack open the 4th book, it is on my nightstand ready!

Very enjoyable 4-book series! Reading one compells you to read the others. And, even if they are not read in the intended sequence, they flow well.

As this is book 3 of the Quartet, I will rate all previous plus this one as TOTALLY AWESOME! The only complaint I have about these books is that they end.
I do like this Nora Roberts series. It tells of wonderful friendships through all kinds of families. Definitely light reading which is nice for time to time. I waited quite a while to read this one and had already decided not to go on to number four but I was hooked and have now requested Happily Ever After to see all of the friends married and happy.
By this time, reading the third book of the Quartet, the characters are almost like old friends. Had to make sure I had the fourth book in hand to go to immediately after finishing this one!
I liked the book but I expected it to be a little better. Everything was predictable.

Book 3 of 4. This is a really sweet series. Light, easy and fun read. Looking forward to book 4.
Awesome book, can't wait until the forth book of the set comes out.
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac-the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut's premier wedding planning companies.
Laurel McBaine has always relied on her friends for support, especially when her dream of attending culinary school was almost ruined by her parents' financial problems. Now Laurel is repaying the kindness of her friends by creating extravagantly luscious tiers of cakes and other confectionary delights that add the perfect touch to their clients' weddings.
As for romance, Laurel believes in it-in theory. But she's too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that other women seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker's older brother, Delaney Brown, on whom Laurel has had a mega crush since childhood.
But some infatuations last longer than others, and Laurel is convinced that the Ivy League lawyer is still out of her reach. Plus, Del is too protective of Laurel to ever cross the line with her, or so she thinks. When Laurel's quicksilver moods get the better of her-leading to an angry hot, altogether mind-blowing kiss with Del-she'll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever....

The 3rd in the Bride Quartet series. I enjoyed the last half of the book the most. It didn't grab me as quickly as the first two. HOWEVER, it is a great story on it's own and the last half of the book really makes up for the lack of full reader engagement at the beginning. A good beach read. Can't wait for the final installment!
Wonderful book. I couldn't put it down. Another well written book by Nora Roberts.

Savor the Moment is book 3 in Nora Robert's Bride quartet. It features Laurel and Del. Laurel has been in love with her best friend's brother Del for as long as she can remember. She has never acted on it because she believes Del thinks of her as just a sister. After an argument Laurel shuts Del up with a steamy kiss. This kiss leads to Del seeing Laurel in a completely new light.
For me, Savor the Moment was all about the friendship between the four women and less about the romance between Laurel and Del. Laurel is rather prickly and difficult to like, although she does have a vulnerable side to her which makes her endearing. Fortunately for Del, Laurel's brash personality doesn't bother him in the least and being the confident man he is just barrels through her insults.
I like that this series appeals to my own personal fantasies e.g. living out a dream job of being a wedding planner, florist, photographer, baker, getting to live in a beautiful historical house in the richest part of New England, vacationing in the Hamptons, wearing Prada shoes, having a live in cook and getting to use the home gym. Need I go on? The setting is just so perfect, like living in a catalog.
I just wasn't all that interested in Laurel and Del's romance, however I do believe that this book had one of the best proposals I have ever had the pleasure of reading. That was a fantastic scene. I find myself very much looking forward to the final book, which will be Parker and Mal's story. Robert's definitely suckered me in by providing a few good scenes between Mal and Parker.

I have enjoyed all three installments thus far. Both Del and Laurel are interesting and complex characters (as have been the previous characters). I love books with reoccurring characters. I can't wait to read Parker's story!
The perfect beach read! I devoured rather than savored this one, which had me misting up at moments. Wonderful depiction of love, family, and friendship.
Loved this book
3rd of the series of 4
Very interesting learning the day to day struggles of running a business, and their great bond as friends, and throw in some romance, very good book

I have to say that the second book as been my favorite so far - perhaps because there didn't seem to be any real conflict with this one. Would still recommend this - it's a quick, easy read.
Great read! I look forward to book #4 of the series due out in November, 2010.
This is another great book in the "bride series" by Nora Roberts. Great group of characters and the story is fun to read. Can't wait for the final intallment. I definitely recommend the previous two books along with Savor the Moment. Romance at its best!!!
Love this series!

great book would recommend
Again love it
Second of a three book series-not nearly as interesting as some of Robert's earlier works. I did expect more. I wonder if Roberts is a fan of Julia Quinn--there is a eference to a Penny Whistledown"--for those of you who have read the Bridgerton family series you know who Whistledown is!!
Liked it
This was a good addition to the Bride Quartet series... I think I liked it even better than book 2. I think this book focused more on the characters than the weddings, which was nice since we've already heard so much about the events from books 1 & 2.
The relationship between Del and Laurel felt more "real", and their actual problems seemed more realistic. I also liked the way they worked things out between them at the end... There wasn't the huge, overly dramatic "blow-up" between the hero & heroine like at the end of book 2 (Emma's story- which left me a bit irritated with her because she forgave Jack so easily...)
I enjoyed the cake making details, and the change of location to the vacation house halfway through the book added some nice variety too.
I'm looking forward to the last book- Parker's story (Happy Ever After)!
