An outstanding book. It's difficult (at least for me) to disagree with Scalia's thought processes. I have to agree with Teddy Kennedy (the only time I ever will, I'm sure) that Justice Antonin Scalia has a brilliant mind. Only someone of his brilliance could possibly write Supreme Court opinions that invoke giggles. Aside from that, he's unrelenting at pointing out the inconsistencies of other justices inconsistencies. He is my kind of conservative justice in that he doesn't use his Supreme Court opinions to advance his own private agenda. The agenda he advances is quite public. It's that of the rule of law trumps the rule of men. The constitution is supreme and he's more than willing to observe the separation of powers and acknowledge that some things are not the business of the courts. And that is what I respect most.
