Scandal Above Stairs by Jennifer Ashley is the second book in the series started in Death Below Stairs. Besides the mystery itself, what makes this book a charming read is the continuing stories of the characters. Both books in the series prove to be quick reads with characters about whom I want to learn more. According to the author's website, the third book is titled Death in Kew Gardens and is "coming soon." I can't wait.

Second book in the series is just as good as the first. Kat takes on a young helper in her kitchen at Daniel's urging to train her. While serving up delicious meals to the upper class, London's high society homes are being robbed and priceless antiquities are being stolen. Kat and her friends are on the "job" of finding out who is stealing the items and all the while the body count is rising. Excellent cozy set in London 1800's.
