Another story that would have been great if not for the continued mantra of the main characters. The duchess with no self worth due to her previous husband telling her she was cold as ice in bed and her lack of blue blood made her annoying to the point of skimming since that is all she ever said. The new lover and his no one can love me attitude due to a rotten childhood and then switching to rogue mode will give you whiplash.
No plot other than these two moaning about what cannot possibly be and sleeping together.
Was very disappointed and glad it was finally over.

Graciela just couldn't seem to wrap her head around being in a relationship with her stepson's best friend, a man her junior by a mere few years, despite their sexual attraction. Her internal wrestling became somewhat tedious, and I was glad when outside influences intervened every time she wanted to run. Colin's insecurities, while there, didn't get much play, yet he still persevered in pursuing her. Best scene? When the stepson finds out and all hell breaks loose. Lots of sexy encounters and after some close calls, the outcome was sweetly satisfying for this couple longing for love and family. 3.5 stars.
