Looking for a book to warm you up on a cold day? Scandalized by Ivy Owens is the answer! This sexy, steamy contemporary romance is definitely open door and very readable. FYI Ivy Owens is a pen name for Lauren Billings, one half of the Christina Lauren writing duo.

Gigi, a journalist for a national news outlet, gets stranded in an airport while returning from an international assignment. Alec, her childhood best friend's brother, is also stuck at the same airport, and when he reserves the last available hotel room, he invites her to share it as old friends. One thing leads to another, and they begin a passionate romance.

Gigi is very surprised to learn Alec's profession and that his sister has a connection to the sex scandal story she's writing. An impulsive decision triggers unintended consequences, and Alec abruptly ends his relationship with Gigi. But this is a romance, so of course, the story doesn't end there.

The interesting plot and sexy scenes had me turning the pages of this book at warp speed. I liked Gigi and Alec, and it was fun to live in their world while reading this story.
