I have read or listened to every Patricia Cornwell book she has done and I have to say that this is the one I disliked the most. She used a lot of words to say nothing. I even found myself disliking Kay Scarpetta and her niece Lucy. To be honest the only one I liked in this book was Marino. It was dry and boring. I had the audio version and as the book ended I actually found myself saying out loud "Thank God that's over". This isn't a book I would recommend to anyone.

It was classic Scarpetta. I particularly enjoyed the ending adding a bit of warmth the to the characters around the Christmas holiday.
