A wonderfully written account of the struggles of Herr Schindler during the Second World War. The atrocities outlined in the book are starkly contrasted against the compassionate humanity of those willing to aid Jewish citizens at great peril to themselves.

Wonderful book, but I don't think I could bear to read it again.
