I really enjoyed this first book in Conant's Cat Lover's Mysteries. I certainly hope she writes more. I found that you have to give the book a chance to get going, it is a bit confusing at the beginning trying to figure out who is who, backgrounds, etc. So you may need to read a bit longer than the usual 50 page test. You will be rewarded with an excellent plot ~ I couldn't see the end coming ~ and a group of interesting characters. The main character is wonderful and makes you care about what happens to her. A little quirky, but a good read!
