It was an interesting book about two players with daddy issues falling for each other. I enjoyed it and usually I would find all the miscommunications and fear annoying but I didn't. The storyline is typical and I didn't really connect emotionally with the characters but it was a decent read. I didn't love it nor did I hate it.

It did get on my nerves that Olivia (Marly & Joe's mutual friend) was so dumb. She just fires and kicks out an ex-husband who stole everything she had in the safe. Wouldn't you think she would change the locks at least if not the combination of her safe? She was really annoying and her issues with Marly was briefly touched but not really explored.

The ending was a little ridiculous but it was an entertaining read overall. I'm not sure I would spend credits or real money on this one, but I will probably read the sequel.

A very enjoyable read. I certainly don't have the skills of the two in the book but reading about all that yummy food made me want to cook!
