Definitely a well written book --- I find that the characters are well within the time period they portray! By the time I finished the book I was scrambling around to find out if Lady Polly would have her own story to tell. I look forward to a good Regency to dull the boredom of the constant bed hoping of the contemporary romances -- Nicola Cornick paced her story so well that I could not put the book down -- this book gets my own personal rating of excellence [not given to a lot of books] -- Lady Polly here I come!

Is he...or isn't he?
Darcy Lambert, newly emerged from her cocoon of grief, studied the stanger Gryf, and wondered where he truly came from. He was very like Grey Barton, her heart's first love-and yet he wasn't. For this was the man who had transformed her from the sweetnatured girl she'd been-into the passionat woman she was meant to be.
Though his memory was dark and clouded, the sun suddenly rose for Gryf at the sight of Darcy Lambert. The brave and golden woman of the sea raised a tempest within him, drowning his in desire to discover his past-and claim their future.
