I've read a lot of different books on WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Global War on Terror, but this one, for some reason, really got me caught up in the story. The insights into the battles, successes and failures, and the officers involved in the "control" of the battles was in-depth and interestingly written. I almost decided to keep this one for my collection, but wanted it to be available to others who have an interest in WWII naval activities. I hope the next recipient of the book enjoys it as much as I did.
