I love this series. I hope this isn't the end. I love the characters! I feel like I am a part of the story.

Third in the Decoupage Mystery series and I hope there will be many more! The characters continue to develop, new ones introduced, and I really like the MC Brenna along with Tenley and Nate. Surprises abound in this one, and the who done it was a "mystery" to me! Quick read, you won't want to put it down.

I wish this wasn't the last book in the series. I loved the town of Morse Point with the MC Brenna, her best friend Tenley the owner of the Decoupage Shop and all the characters who made everything there interesting. Lucy Lawrence always made the endings of each book a complete surprise as to who the murderer was. This book takes place in the fall. Brenna does a favor for a friend to take a group of leaf peepers on a trail around the lake. They never expected to find a body near the trail. The body was the business partner of Tenley's father. Brenna vows to help Tenley find the real murderer to free her father from being charged for his murder. Lots of twists and turns occur before the final reveal. Loved how the romance department in the series was wrapped up at the end.

The start was a little slow, but then it picked up. I did enjoy the story overall, although much of it was predictable and easy to figure out. The ending, however, dragged on and on even after the "mystery" was solved.
