Hi Everyone,

Many years ago I read a book that I am now trying desperately to find. It's set in New Orleans and mostly in the Bayou and the Mississippi River areas. Its about two vampire clans, one that lives in the Bayou and one on the paddle steamers, the paddle steamers were casinos. I cant remember the name of the book or the author as it was around 20-30 years ago that I read it, but it was a hard cover book.

If anyone can help me to find the book I would be more than grateful.

Although I haven't read it, this sounds like Fevre Dreams by George RR Martin (the author of the Game of Thrones series), I know it has vampires and riverboats, and takes place in the 1860s
