Interesting look at truth and fiction, folklore and newly found out data about the Giant Squid. Some black and white illustrations.

My reading of it is that the author is more interested in the mythology and the things we don't know about it, and less than the actual biology. The problem is that it's a 20 year old book, and now we have videos of them and other information, so reading wikipedia can give you more info now.
