Thrilling and suspenseful, another winner.

This is one of James Patterson's earlier books. It is a pretty good read, but I have to admit I did not enjoy it as much as his more recent books. It is worth a read though.

DH says this one is "rougher" than most of Patterson's books. Murder and mayhem ... all wrapped up in a good story.
Thoroughly enjoy all his books.
James Patterson at his best!
Another good Patterson suspense story.
another fun book of Patterson's
Cool and glamorous, they could be a successful couple on a holiday. But Damien and Carrie Rose are killers for hire. The new venue is a vacation island.
well-written book by Patterson, lots of twists and turns.
Gripping - graphic - suspenseful!! A good book.
This is an early James Patterson book. Secret government plot to create terror, confusion and collapse through random slaughter of innocent people.
The author of the bestselling Along Came a Spider, Patterson, weaves a superb story of unrelenting suspense about an elegant jet-setting pair of psychopathic killers spearheading a grisly series of machete murders.
Classic Patterson, couldn't put it down.
Cooland glamorous, they could be a successfulcouple on a holiday. But Damian and Carrie Rose are psycopathic murderers for hire.
Their new venue is a picture-perfect vacation island. Their adversary
will be Peter MacDonald the dashing young American who forsakes a life of leisure for a cnfrontation with cold-blooded terror. Amd risks everything only to discover that he alone suspects the hidious truth. fast pace / not large print

Not one of his best.
This was a quick read but not one of my favorites. It was hard for me to figure out the point of the story. Like a teen horror flick all the violence but without a complex plot.
Very fast-paced, filled with drama...if you're into James Patterson, this is right on a par with his other books, and you will be satisfied with it.
enjoyed it
This is one of Patterson's earliest works, which is why some reviewers claim "it's not like the Patterson I'm used to". Personally, I think Patterson has gotten way too formulaic in his writing, seemingly seeking to put out MORE books each year (for the money!) than put out BETTER books each year. This early story is gritty and pure thriller, and well worth the read. I like Patterson and wish he hadn't lost the edge he demonstrates in this book.
I love James Patterson, and decided to read his early, early publications. I was very disappointed in this one as it I just couldn't get into it.
A well-written, spine-chilling tale, all too logical in outlook and outcome, particularly in the light of recent political events

I missed this earlier Patterson book when it first came out, but was glad to get the chance to finally read it.

Early James Patterson. Pretty Good Story.
pretty gruesome story, but the charcters are very interesting. slightly disppointin ending.
one of his most suspenseful. I am not sure how much I liked the overall plot.
Good book.
ugg...I love Patterson's books but not this one!
grisly murders, government conspiracy, a innocent young man is the link to solving these murders.
Very enjoyable
Always a James Patterson fan!!!
Another great book by Patterson!
I tried to get into this book but kept getting lost.read about 100 pages
I recommend this book to anyone
One of Patterson's earlier works. I feel it lacks the polish of his more recent novels. Still, it's worth reading.
Great James Patterson read--not your typical police procedural.

Not my cup of tea, hard to follow, too much information. Think Clancy.
Very fast paced. Thrills and chills. This is a quick read and has a twisting plot right to the end.

Another great book by Patterson.
Skips back and forth in time, but well marked with chapter headings. I felt confused at times...but then that's perhaps true about everything with me :-)
OK, not one of his best.
This book is violent and brutal. If you like James Patterson, you will probably like it. I think there are far more entertaining authors.
Could not follow the story. This book is totally different than other James Patterson that I know off. There are no twist and turn or plot in the story, seem to me that some one else writting this book not the famous New York Time bestseller that I know and love.
Great book!
