I LOVED!! this book. It was very realistic, very emotional, very sexy. It is a story of loss, of love, of grappling with your innermost feelings; and the small town setting is one I enjoy. I am just starting on the follow up novel, "Honky Tonk Angels." Please don't miss this novel.

A very good book! I am now reading Moyer's second book "The Last of the Honky Tonk Angels". If you like stories about small town life, then you will enjoy these books.

This is an excellent read! Funny and heart-wrenching at the same time...a definite page turner!
This book is so much more than your average chick lit book. Well-written and engrossing.

A sequel that does not disappoint, how often can you say that? Read this one & you will. I couldn't wait to read this one the second I finished Honky Tonk Angels and it didn't let me down. In Texas we have our own sort of language and habits and Ms. Moyer captured them so well. What can I say except please write another one!
Lovely...can't wait for Marsha Moyer to write another!
Loved this book! Lucy Hatch is one of my favorite characters.
Interesting hometown story of a woman who loses her husband of many years and how she comes to terms with finding herself and allowing herself to find someone new to love. I enjoyed this and will read the next 2 in this series.
This was a sweet story about Lucy trying to find her way after the sudden death of her husband!
This was a great book. I'd heard so many good things about it and was so excited to read it that it didn't quite met my expectations, but that's my fault, not the author's! This glimpse of small-town Texas life was interesting, and Lucy's character was full and became dear to my heart.
Great read!
Typical chic-lit. Predictable story, woman trying to get back on her feet and falling for the bad-boy. I've heard this story many times before.
Woefully cliche and Romance oriented.
