I'm a Kat Martin fan, as she does a lot of trilogies, plus always has good plots and characters.
The Secret is # 3 in her paranormal series...most of her series are NOT paranormal. It's an entertaining book, well written as Kat does, with a bit of intrigue, lots of romance, a little sex and nature.
I'd suggest reading the first two in the series first, The Dream, The Silent Rose. Suspenseful series, and makes you want to keep on reading.
