I love books like this! Each segment is presented in a short easily read fashion. It's not a book you have to stay with to keep up with. You can pick it up a few times a day. Each time getting some fact that you hadn't heard before. There were lots of things that I didn't know. Stuff that maybe a presidential historian would put in a long biography but little quirks that make the history of American Presidents seem like real people. Including people who seem bewildered at the idea that they got to be president.

A fun light and frothy read. Great stuff.

Interesting and amusing, fun to read if nothing else! There were a couple of stories that had me literally laughing out loud. There's a section about each president with some personal and political facts, a couple of pages with a biography of the president's personal as well as political life, and then a few pages of quirky facts and stories. Also includes special sections about presidential pets, first ladies, famous last words, etc.
