I really enjoyed this book and am eagerly awaiting book #2. This is an interesting story about the days of slavery. It held my attention throughout. Once I started to read it I didn't want to put it down and couldn't wait to pick it up again. Gary E. Parker is a really good writer, I think anyone that chooses this book will be glad that they did. Great story, and some surprises.
