I was wondering if anyone has seen one of these and what you;r thoughts are on it. It is a bible with god and religion removed as I understand it.I think it might be interesting kind of a novel idea I'm sure some religious groups will be up in arms . |

I haven't seen it. I'm going to be using this Jewish Humanist Haggadah this Passover...probably similar kind of changes as you'd make to a secular bible. http://www.eszter.com/Haggadah.pdf |

Are you talking about the Jefferson Bible? Thomas Jefferson edited a version of the Bible, he removed anything irrational (miracles etc), anything that offended his rational mind. |

From the write up I saw on it is is based upon Humanist understandings. Basically "be good to each other because that is the right thing to do". |
