For me this book started out slow the 1st fifty pages are a lot of world(s) building that I thought I'd never get though...but once that is out of the way this story takes off with a bang! Well worth sticking it out....Not only is there a great chemistry and story line between Bronse & Ravenna I have already found myself dying to read the other's stories as well, especially Ophelia <(I probly spelled wrong) whom is the younger sister of Ravenna and a chosen of great healling power. Two Thumbs Up to Frank on another Must Read Series!

Frank is back on track, at least for me. I enjoy her nightwalkers series, but the other two series (shadow walkers and gathers)are a ho hum. The 3 world series has adventure, romance and a "story." Frank is a bit wordy setting up the story in the first chapter, but then she takes off with the story. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Another hit!!! I am amazed with each book the level of imagination Frank has, she can detail a new world and make it come alive without weighing down the story with too much detail. This story is a little on the science fiction side, but not so much to be confusing. All of the characters are great, each one has a unique personality and brings something to the story. Bronse and Ravenna are brought together by dreams and an assassin trying to kill Bronse. I hope we see more of this little troop of characters in the future.
