Very boring and the chemistry between H/H was all about lust not love. Skip this one.

Scorpions are not insects.
Pleasant read. Description is a bit off - not the second son of the Marquess of Eldon, rather Viscount Eldon. Think a steamy Indiana Jones. Liked the characters.

A quick, fun read that feels like the book equivalent of TNT's The Librarian movies.
The men are members of Solomon's, an organization that tracks down objects of legend. Fielding Grey comes off of discovering the lost library of Alexandria and finds himself suddenly on the trail of Pandora's Box. Esme Worthington holds the key (literally) to said box, and has an unfortunate habit of being kidnapped by the bad guy. She thinks she's been cursed with Lust (one of the curses contained in the box), Fielding is convinced that it would be a bad idea to fall in love with her, and romantic hi-jinks ensue. The plot could stand to have been a little more developed (DeHart kind of breezes over some details that could've easily been enhanced), but maybe the rest of the books in the series will improve upon that.

Good book, lots of action, great story.
blah...I tried but it was just so slow...characters were all over the place as was the story and it wasn't even a good attempt. Didn't finish.
interesting series about all the old myths/legends blended into a romance. looking forward to the next book regarding atlantis.
Esme is a 27 year old book loving, intelligent spinster. Fielding hunts treasures/antiquities for money. They cross paths when she is kidnapped and he is hired to find Pandora's box.
I really liked this. I liked the mix of adventure, mythology, and romance. Of course Pandora's box is opened; but not only by the easily guessed, but others too. Nice twist on the Raven's identity. Interesting how families have a lack of communication which could have solved some issues (but then Fielding and Esme might never have met, so that wouldn't have worked!) much earlier. Just talking. It's amaze balls how it helps so much, shocker that.
Interested in the next, Max's story (who is fascinated with the legend of Atlantis). Graeme's, how made an appearance in this one at the end, is book 3.
