This book is part of a 3-part series that I had the opportunity to read. I enjoyed getting wrapped up with the characters and would recommend if you like a story line that has combined intrigue along with a love story that evolves through the book. Good read!

I loved this book! It is one of Jackson's earlier books called 'Treasures" that she has rewritten. I did not read 'Treasures" but this book is a winner! Kidnap, murder, forbidden love -- what more can you ask for pure entertainment. Five stars

Let me 1st say that I love Lisa Jackson but I hated this book & it also took me forever to read. I was creeped out & disgusted with the premise of the two main characters Adria/London & Zach trying to find out it she was really his half sister yet still having sex. The whole incest angle & the longing looks plus the comparison that she looks just like her mother Kat (who Zach also had sex with as a teenager) was just too much. The other siblings & rival family were part of the story too. The powerful brother, the weakling brother, & messed up sister. I just couldn't get into this book but I did finally finish it. The actual killer (s) were a surprise. Good luck if you are going to read this. I won't waste any more review because it's not worth it

Riveting and exciting. I could not put this book down. I read it in less than a half a day! I always enjoy thrillers that are somewhat believable. A kidnapped child from a wealthy family comes forward to present herself as the rightful long-lost heiress--only she does not remember what happened the night she was kidnapped. While some are suspicious, one other person does believe her, and she has every reason to be very, very afraid!

Thirty years ago, a little girl from one of Portland's wealthiest families was kidnapped. No trace of her was ever found. Now Adria Nash believes that she is that same little girl. Is she doing it for the inheritance money? Someone thinks so... and that someone is trying to kill her.....

Good, fast-paced mystery story with a little romance too! I spent the entire book wonderng if Adria was the missing London Danvers. Plot twists are well-done and characters are likeable. Highly recommended!

A romantic novel originally published in 1994 under the title "Treasures". The author added more suspense, intrigue, and atmospher and it's like a brand new book. Set in Oregon, a young woman comes forward claiming to be the long lost (kidnapped) heiress of the Nash family. Set in Portland, Oregon it is full of mystery and of course, love stories.

From the back:

Dear Reader:

There's something special about your first novel, and SEE HOW SHE DIES is no exception. It was my first romantic suspense, originally published in 1994 under the title TREASURES. I love these characters and their story, but still, looking back, I felt I hadn't quite finished. I've learned so much since then that I wanted another crack at it. So I've added more suspense, intrique, and atmosphere. Now, it feels like a brand-new book.

As a child, London Danvers was kidnapped from her wealthy family. Over the year, many women have come forward claiming to be the long-lost heiress-only to be exposed as frauds. Now, another woman has arrived in Oregon, claiming to be London. But Adria Nash is different. She knows personal details only London could have known, yet she can't remember what happened the night of her abduction-a fact that makes family rebel Zachary Danvers suspicious. Still, Adria is determined to prove her identity...there's a paralyzing sense of dread she just can't shake. And she's right to be afraid-because someone does believe her. Someone who is watching Adria's every move. Waiting for the right moment to see how see runs...see how she screams...she how she dies...
