Ok...I like Patterson, so I tried this book; guessing it would be like all his others. I couldnt even finish it - not because it did not include his normal addictive writing, but more because the plot was one I wasnt interested in. Its about current day Nazis and their attack on rich, powerful Jews who control the world. I definetly respect the horror of the Holocaust, but its just too...too something. It seems to try too hard. Another thing I dont like is when authors use other languages in books and dont translate, or mention in a sidebar way what certain words mean. I AM NOT JEWISH! Should i really have to hunt down a Jew to find out what certain words mean? Yeah, Jews might appreciate it, but dont forget your other faithful readers!!! A translation is deserved; that's my pet peeve! Also, about the Holocaust - I'm tired of only hearing about what it did to the Jews. Many other people and cultures were hurt and though I respect what they've gone through, their pain has overshadowed others who've been forgotten. I personally dont like to read war books or anything of that sort. Well, If thats your thing, try it!

"See How They Run" has a very unusual plot line. The book is about two WWII concentration camp surviors that are trying to prevent the Nazis from terrorizing the world again. David Strauss and Alix Rothchild fly to Germany to retrace David's brother's steps in making his film, The Forth Commandment, and to search for a man named Michael Ben-Iban. For David this might be his chance to find out why his brother was murdered and for Alix the trip was a terror filled and business trip. There are many plot twists that will make you think, "Why didn't I think of that earlier?" James Patterson has masterfully placed history in an exciting mouse chase that will leave you satisfied.

Read the first few chapters and didn't like it very much at all, too many typos and poorly composed sentences.

Early work from him. A bit different, sort of unsettling, and ultimately, not particularly satisfying. Nazis vs. Nazi Hunters in 1980, with too many over-the-top, overly zealous radicals on both sides. In short, not very realistic.

If you like fast-paced action, detective mystery thrillers, this one's for you. 126 chapters in 462 pages makes for a very quick read. No wasted words here. Patterson at his best.

James Patterson is terrific!
Outside New York city, the palatial home of Dr. David Strauss's parents is attacked by gunmen during a glittering party. As he watches helplessly, his wife is murdered. In Los Angeles, Strauss's brother is killed during the Academy Award ceremonies. In Manhattan, his past sweetheart, Alix Rothchild, is running for her life. Dr. David Strauss is soon obsessed with finding the explosive secret behind the murders of his family members. His dangerous odyssey takes him across Europe, and finally to the Olympics, where one of the most shattering surprises in suspense fiction will take place.

Great book by James Patterson
This book was originally published as "The Jericho Commandment"
Think back to the 1980 Olympic Games, held in Moscow. In truth, the U.S. boycotted the Games that year. Now, imagine that the U.S. team had participated in the 1980 Games, and that a group that calls itself The Fourth Reich infiltrates the Olympic Village with the intention of starting a new Holocaust.
This book has nonstop action almost from the opening page, and is full of the surprises and plot twists that a Patterson thriller has become known for. I can't imagine why there hasn't been a movie made of this one yet!

Not bad, but I didn't think it was up to some other Patterson stories I've read.

You must read all of James Patterson's books if you are a fan, this book was published in 1979 and is harder to find. Look out bad guys James is on your case and you are toast.
Average book for a non-Delaware novel.
