This is a great thriller from page one and it doesn't stop until the very last page! That is the great thing about Patterson you get the best of the best of thrillers from his work.

Nina Bloom is not her real name but her past life caused her to start over to save herself and her baby from a monster that she just learned she was married to and thought she loved.

After years of living a full life with her daughter and becoming a lawyer she learns of a man sentenced to die for a crime he didn't commit but she knows the truth and goes back to her former home to try to save his life and also finds how her former husband ties into the crime.

I read this in one day, once you start you'll be consumed and won't put it down until the last page!

An exciting suspense-filled book. Grips you right out the gate. I started reading this late Friday night until I could read no more and fell aspleep. First thing Saturday morning I finished it. Very fast read with great characters and a storyline that kept you riveted, wanting to know what was going to happen next. I've read a few Patterson books lately that I felt were being cranked out for the money-mill but this one, in my opinion, was old-school Patterson. Definitely worth your time to read.

Another page-turner from Patterson, et al. This one was told from the perspective of a woman who had changed her identity and fled from her corrupt policeman husband in Key West, Florida. Well, there's a lot more to the story including a serial killer, a DUI manslaughter, and Mexican drug cartels. Overall, I did enjoy this one from the Patterson team.

This was one of the most nail biting, hair pulling, chills on the back of neck books you wanna read. James Patterson keeps you up all night and he never disappoints. How an innocent young girl on spring break can find herself innocently caught up in a web of deceit, lies and betrayal is beyond me. Make sure you have nothing to do but read this to the surprising end.

I enjoy all James Patterson's books so I expected to enjoy this one as well. I sure did, it was not as sinister as some of his others but it was a great read. Finished in two days cause I couldn't put it down.

I have always read James Patterson's books ....can never wait for the newest to come out....and I thought I had already read his BEST book..........but I was wrong! This book was absolutely GREAT!!!!! If you have never read a book of his then grab this one.....you will be hooked on his writing! He has also been writing with other authors but the books he writes with Michael Ledwidge are the best in my opinion....they just seem to connect so well when they write together! Loved this one!!!

I have to agree with others that this one is a "page turner". Somewhat typical Patterson, but better than his average. Worth reading for sure.

Another good James Patterson collaboration. I enjoyed the story and the characters. The book is somewhat predictable but there are enough twists to keep you interested to the end.

Fast and entertaining even if totally unbelievable!

This is James Patterson so just go along and enjoy the ride, suspend your disbelief at the perils survived, and then turn it off just as you would a mindless movie!

This is typical Patterson, thrills a minute and wrapped up like a neat bow at the end. Not to say I didn't likeit, but it always reminds me when I read one of his books why it is such a fast read and it also makes me feel like I am needing closure!

I read NOW YOU SEE HER with a couple reading buddies in my online book club, The Reading Cove.

It's a quickly paced book--and that's about the best thing going for it, IMHO. I actually enjoyed our discussion more than I did the book itself! LOL

This was all plot by coincidence. WAY too many coincidences! Which meant the story had little credibility and I quickly lost interest. I thought it was obvious where another writer took over, the transition was very disjointed.

There was also a disturbing theme of characterization by race--for any character that wasn't white. The white characters are described using their features, but the non-white characters weren't afforded the same treatment, they were always described as a race. Interesting.

I can actually see this as something I may have gobbled up in my teens, though, because that's pretty much the stage of intelligence you have to put yourself in to enjoy it. If you're able to dumb yourself down, suspend disbelief and turn your brain off, this may be for you, but for me it was a total waste of time.

I give it a D+. 1.5/5 stars. I really can't recommend it. You're better off reading an oldie but goodie by Sidney Sheldon instead, like MASTER OF THE GAME or THE OTHER SIDE OF MIDNIGHT. :)

Really enjoyable quick read. No real surprises in the storyline. Another James Patterson success.

I enjoyed the book - just as I enjoy all James Patterson's books. However, it did not rate clear up there with the rest. I felt the story was rathered "hurried along". The daughter was born, and within a few pages, she was grown and not spoken of during the last third of the book. Where was she, and who was overseeing her while her mother was in Key West, etc?

One of the better JP books I have read lately. I wish though that the ends were not predictable. Not everythihng has to be a happy ending.

To save her own life, Nina Bloom vanished. Now, to rescue an innocent man, she confronts the killer she thought she escaped forever. -- The perfect life -- A successful lawyer and loving mother, Nina Bloom would do anything to protect the life she's built in New York -- including lying to everyone, even her daughter, about her past. But when an innocent man is framed for murder, she knows that she can't let him pay for the real killer's crimes.

The perfect lie

Nina's secret life began 18 years ago. She had looks to die for, a handsome police-officer husband, and a carefree life in Key West. When she learned she was pregnant with their first child, her happiness was almost overwhelming. But Nina's world is shattered when she unearths a terrible secret that causes her to run for her life and change her identity.

The perfect way to die

Now, years later, Nina risks everything she's earned to return to Florida and confront the murderous evil she fled. In a story of wrenching suspense, James Patterson gives us his most head-spinning, action filled story yet -- a Hitchcock-like blend of unquenchable drama and pleasure.

FANTASTIC READ! I finished this book in one day. True to James Patterson way of writing, this keeps your interest from page one and doesn't stop. When you finish the book, you wish there was a sequal. Anyone liking James Patterson will really like this book.

This is one of James Patterson's stand-alone thrillers and it was great! The beginning of the story is set in Key West, where a bunch of college kids are there to "party until they drop." Jeanine gets involved in a series of events that impact her life in a negative way. Eventually she is forced to flee and start a new life for herself in New York. This book is exciting, a real page turner, that I could not put down. Exciting and fast paced, it is James Patterson at his best.

This book was a thriller and a very enjoyable read. Nina Bloom, the main character, had a secret life. When she unearthed a terrible secret, she changes her identity and vanishes. After many years, she has a perfect life as a lawyer and loving mother. As a lawyer, she risks everything she's earned to confront the murderous evil she fled from years ago.
