This book manages to be both an easy read and yet deeply affecting. Nevada Barr is a famous writer of our own time with the problems and issues of our own time. She writes with a lot of humor about her life yet does not trivialize it. I loved it.

This kind of reminded me of Katherine's Hepburn's "Me" book. It's a "what I'm thinking" collection of stuff. It did give me some insight into why she's been writing the way she does, which is darker and darker with every book. I'm not inclined to recommend it.
