The Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I ca, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Take the first step to serenity with the help of these special features:

1. Steps to Serenity presents the entire twelve step program and explains each step in the context of scriptual truths.

2. 84 mediations...seven for each of the twelve steps...provide encouragement and familiarize you with what the bible has to say about each step.

3. The entire New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs with more than 500 highlighted verses give you an overview of the biblical principles of recovery.

As you find the truths and principles of the twelve steps in the pages of Scripture, discover what God has to say to you, or to someone you love, about overcoming an addiction or gaining new direction in your life.

Great companion to the AA Big Book.

This is a specific, biblical reference that elaborates on each step, including about 4+ devotional passages for each step.
I appreciate the scripture reading that goes with each 1-page, step reading.
The use of "codependent" and "addict" or interchangeable, so it's not focused on one program over the other.
The material is encouraging, always edifying God's love and acceptance.
