I liked this book set in a rich and complicated universe. I especially liked the way the majat are portrayed and how Raen interacts with them.
cherryh at her best. I love the way she peoples her story with believable characters human, sub human and non-human and builds cultures around them.I use of imaginative languages is great. I have enjoyed almost all of her series immensley. I think i have only two more of her novels to look forward to.
