This is the most original story by Anne Rice, narrated by M.Cummpsty, a highly skilled actor on Broadway, in film & tv. His voice makes this story come heartbreakingly alive & oh so satisfying in its conclusion. As you insert the first cassette & before you hit "play," you must suspend all disbelief at the tale unfolding in your brain, heart, psyche & hope for love.
Azriel is ghost, demon, angel-in love with the good, in thrall to the evil-and he pours out his heart to us telling an astonishing story.

Was an interesting story - I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first and the entire story is a bit odd, but good!

Excellent story of the ancient ways of culture and how it has been woven into the history. Grabs you from the beginning and keeps going right on to the end.
