This fabulous story has it all -- murder, love, and jealousy and a family with lots of secrets. Set on the Central California Coast, this is the seventh Benni Harper story. I loved it!

Great book! I love this series!
Sam announces that his girlfriend is pregnant. She is the granddaughter of one of the Brown sisters. At the announcement party, a man is shot and killed. What seems as a simple murder gets murky and dangerous for Benni who has been drawn into the investigation by a sheriff's deputy, Hud. The Brown family is a big name in her country and it won't be easy to get to the truth and even if they do, be able to do anything about it. Great book, as always.
Every book in this series is wonderful.
A very intriguing story line!
