Another great book by Ms.Anderson. A little mystery, a little more love. She has a way of writing that keeps the pages turning. I didn't want to put this book down. Great read.
I read this several months ago, don't remember specifics. I do remember thinking WOW, that was a really good book.

Excellant book; exciting plot, a real page-turner!
catherine is one of my favorite authors. i like this book and couldn't put it down for me it was a quick read.
Not really CA's best. Pretty much written to formula so that you could predict all the plot directions. Marilee was pretty much a two-dimensional woman who did not have the backbone to confront her troubles and deal with them.

Read it before and read it again - both times were very well enjoyed.

I wanted to like this book, but it just didn't work for me. Marilee drove me crazy telling Joe she couldn't see him, couldn't have a relationship with him, couldn't tell him her secret...then she would eventually do it ten pages later. Joe was a saint putting up with her problems and trying to get her to go to a therapist. He also had a son in therapy at the same time. I liked his relationship with his Zachary better than his relationship with Marilee. The story dragged on as a contemporary romance until the last 100 pages. At that point there was a mystery to solve. My rating: 2.5 Stars.

Characters Joe his son Zachery and Joe's long time love Miralee. Joe comes back after 10 yrs to find Miralee who is a wreck. They decide to marry so he could keep his son Zachery. Joe finds out that Miralee was raped by some guys who wanted to make Joe mad. After Joe goes after the guy. The guy winds up dead and Joe is accused of killing him. Miralee does everuthing in her power to prove him innocent
As always Catherine Anderson out did herself....A very good book.
