Just finished the first book in the "Southern Sewing Circle" series, "Sew Deadly".  Found it very enjoyable and humours AND I didn't figure out who "had done it" early on like I seem to be able to do with the later Sue Grafton ABC series books.  I put book #2 on wish list and hope it gets listed soon.  I'll list this one here as soon as my mom reads it.  

Sharon there is another discussion board down below this one that is called 'mystery and thriller'. There is a lot of talk there about books like the one you mentioned here.
